Picked these up at a flea market. I doubt that they are oiginals but perhaps reprints from around the time of the BiCentennial. Does anyone recognize these and know the story behind them? All I know is that they were issued by the Boston Globe in their Sunday editions. There is an additional clue that says…… SLOAN & WOODWARD Copyright 1905. Anybody have any info on these? Cant help a lot other than to say – I believe these were part of a larger series of the Boston Globe Sunday newspaper supplements aimed at increasing circulation between 1905 and 1907 – covering everything from life at home, the military and far away places. |
