The mission for the Space Marines was to find an artifact at the far end of the table and return it to one of the entry points. First edition (1989) rules were used, with a few additions from the expansions.

Attacking with Marines is always tough. I find the best scenarios are the when they are on the defensive. I think in just about a hundred games played, where the Marines had to attack, I have seen only one success!

I love the mix of the boards from Advanced Space Crusade and Space Hulk. This looks such fun!

Very cool game! I love 1st edition. I played in a very large game at Cincycon earlier this year. I think there were 8 or 9 squads of termies. It had two levels to the hulk. Very fun game!

Thanks,

John

Yeah, a standard squad or even heavy weapons supported squads with a captain rarely win when on the offense or move at least against any gene stealer player who understands the principle of mass, maneuver and economy of force. No supporting fields of fire in single wide corridors!
