So as far as fantasy miniatures go, what are the ten most common weapons you regularly see on figures? You can be as specific as you like – eg swords would be top of the list (probably), but are there specifc types of swords you see regularly ? – shortswords, longswords, 2-handed swords, smallswords, etc.? |

I see a lot of two handed swords for Hero types in the Conan style. Lots of hand crossbows lately as well. |

Less than half my fantasy figures have big boobs. In fact most of the undead have no boobs at all. Men spears, swords, two handed swords, bows Elves spears swords bows Dwarves Axes, hammers, crossbows |

The bastard sword is probably the Daddy. Firstly, generations of D&D players discovered that the trusty BS was the optimum choice from the weapon list, and character figures reflect that. Second, most fantasy sword sculpts tend to be somewhat overlarge and end up at approximate Bastard Sword size anyhoo. |
