I agree, John and Winston got a raw deal. In the old days the word would have been bleeped, so a modern snip should have done the trick. |

I have now researched said DHing and stand by my previous post. However, I want to add some data. John/Winston is fully aware of the rules. He has been known, in the past, to deliberately break said rules and then report himself for DHing. Such may or may not be the case in this situation. But, if the Bleep-O-Matic has been adjusted to let a word through, then it should not longer be a DH-able offense. I am not a fan of DHing in general, and wish it were removed altogether. I usually do not join the "free so and so from the DH" topics on principle. Tonight, I make an exception, Free John the OFM/Winston Smith! This is ridiculous! |

Sorry to disagree with what seems to be the majority, but John knows the rules, as do we all. He knowingly did what he did. I am sure being on the right side of the spectrum, he probably thought he could get away with it. Whether we agree with his opinion of the topic or not, does not matter. Rules are rules. If we do not follow the rules, anarchy ensues. We have all seen that. Sorry, John. |

In the old days the word would have been bleeped… Well, that's the danger in removing the word from the bleeper. As I explained previously. |

At least he's not under 4 guises-he could always dig up that moldy Cat Shannon and William Pitt the Eldar to have the Continuum again.I have been here on TMP a long time and its really sad that I remember all this. |

Eh, John's no stranger to the ole' dawghouse. He can do the time standing on his head with a song in his heart. |

I say we free John and execute Winston. :) |

Free Winston and flog John. He likes it. Winston is the frail artistic type. |

Well, that's the danger in removing the word from the bleeper. As I explained previously.
But Bill since when is…oh no, you wonīt catch me there! Since when is THAT WORD a medical term? I donīt think it should ever have been un-bleeped. At least let poor Winston go, he never done no harm to nobody. The OFM can be yours to toy with. |

OFM/Winston Dawghoused for writing the s word, post deleted BUT it appears in full when you check out why they are in the Dawghoused! Double standards Bill? |

There is no doubt in my tiny tartan mind that if you are going to use such disgusting language on a toy soldier site then you must accept the punishment. Winnith really let himself down. However, I don't understand why John the OMG was dawghoused along with him because I thought he made the point really well. Let me also ask… Why is the OP allowed to remain on a website dedicated to toys? What relevance is there? No wonder some get frustrated about such posts. An answer from the Editor or his staff could help. All contributions to it afterwards is just the locals having fun and we can ignore them. |

There are many off topic posts, which is fine as there are boards for such a thing. Perhaps there should be a new board: Tasteless Topics. More boards, lovely! |

Nah, each of you should visit the doghouse and taunt the POW'S until they cry. This has always been my position. Anyone want to borrow my pointy stick to poke at them ? |

He knowingly did what he did. That's a dangerous assumption, at his age.. |
