Well a few people Luis (?) at Minarions and fellow SCW aficionados. Chaps could I mix the republican and nationalist rifle boxes for both sides? As i am wanting larger forces and not wanting to mix poses – annoying I know. Also Does anyone know if there is a possibility of buying per figure?

Why don't you use a meaningful thread title that might actually get the response you're looking for?

Primalucem12 Nov 2015 10:11 p.m. PST

You could definitely do just that. Looking at my Minairons figs, their kit is similar for most figures. The peaked hat of the nationalists is distinctive, so if it were me, I wouldn't bring those figures to the other side, and you might think about too many Trubia helmets on the Nationalist side, but there are certainly figures in both boxes that could work for either side. And you can justify just about anything by calling it captured gear.

No idea about the per figure question. I get my boxes from Scalecreep in the US.

You can also fill your force out with Irregular Minis. They're an older line, and not as crisp as Minairons, but they sell by the fig or small packs. Lluis said he intended them to work with other lines like Irregulars.

Seems Primalucem gave him a meaningful answer.

Thanks Primalucem!

I am a little leery of the Irregular chaps – I have thought of using the Minarions alternate heads as well. I have gone as far as replacing that awful T26 commander with AB tank crew as they are a good mix, and the figures feel like AB figures.

Hi, at start of the war, the army, on both sides wore same uniform. So not an issue there

Later were some slight differences like Republicans did not have tassels on their caps. But Republicans wore whatever they could get. Have a photo of Republicans wearing bits of CTV uniform.

For my 15mm I keep my Nationalists in same headgear for each battalion, but Republicans, mix and match.

Some of the irregulars are pretty interesting. I particularly like the republicans in winter garb. But I agree that they're not at the same level.

Smart with that T26. That figure is awful when next to Minairons figs.
