The subject made me think this was going to be some kind of "sky galleys" game… This was a good primer on Lepanto. Wargamers looking for more information should read "Gunpowder and Galleys" by Guilmartin. - Ix |

I liked the variety of opinion on the battle's meaning..it saved Italy ..or .. had no effect whatever on the Ottomans. A great ..free.. summary has been around a while in this article. link Yes, if one listens to radio 4 long enough the monkeys do type out a decent programme eventually. |
