"Marty Adelstein's Tomorrow Studios has optioned the rights to develop Bong Joon-ho's 2013 Korean feature Snowpiercer as a TV series. Josh Friedman (Avatar 3, War Of The Worlds) is attached to write the adaptation, set in a postapocalyptic ice age where the only remaining life on the planet survives aboard a train that travels around the globe. Personally I thought it was creative and the big fight scene was a blast. However….I don't see how they could keep the story going. |

Hollyweird could do to Snowpiercer what it did to Starship Troopers… Take the name, the basic concept, use some of the character's names and then completely change the storyline. Make it a kinda Serenity-on-a-train. |

At least "Minority Report" had some interesting aspects to it. "Snowpiercer" was so stupid that "Sharknado" looks like a cinema classic by comparison. |
