I“ve finally dared to do this conversion, as the figure is an indispensable one for the project. Using as reference a Spartan Games 40mm figure, a Wargames Factory numidian warrior as basis and a lot of green stuff… here is the final result: link

Yes, I think the Spartan Games figures (40mm?) are a thing of the past. Your work is beautiful, though. He looks spot on! Many thanks for sharing your continuing project.
