A few factoids for your perusal. If all goes really really well, the game will be out this weekend, worse case next week.

*Game scale?*
Individually based figures.
A typical game is 10-15 guys on each side, but you could go lower or up to around a platoon or so, without too much fuss.

*Game engine?*
The game will be based on the "No End in Sight" game engine.
This means more focus on suppression fire, reaction fire integrated into the movement mechanics and so forth.

The engine has been modified to make movement a little faster, change the focus from military units to groups of individuals and to emphasize low level warfare a bit more.

*Is this a stand alone game?*
Yes, it will be 100% stand alone. You don't need to own a copy of No End in Sight.

*What sort of stuff is included?*
Campaign rules, patterned somewhat after the likes of Necromunda. Lead a warband, find interesting loot, earn skills and die horribly.

Some monsters, zombies and creepy-crawlies.

Character creation ala Five Parsecs From Home, though simpler and D6 based.

*What is NOT included?*
Vehicles won't be in the first version. I may add them later, but I want to come up with some cool ideas for vehicle customization first.

No points values or systems.

*What is the tone of the game?*
Fairly serious but not excessively so.
Tech-level is very 20th century, with the occasional gadgetry. More down-to-earth than Fallout.
I'd say about the level of the Metro video games.

For a glance at the original game engine, this review does a decent job though some things, like stress accumulation, aren't used here.

Super excited for this. I have been looking for something that captures the Metro feel and NWG has never let me down yet

Thanks, hope I'll live up to expectations :-)

Tentatively "No Hope in Sight".

Boats (waterborne vehicles) are more likely to be important after the immediate collapse period. Your successful apocalyptic warband will likely use waterborne transport if it actually want to carry away any of its loot.

How on earth are you going to use "suppressive" fire in an ammunition scarce period. We may have more guns than people in the USA, but I doubt that the typical gun has more than one box of ammo to go with it.

But still, your effort sound like fun.
