You will soon be able to buy your Stormtroopers in a green-army-men-style plastic bucket, shaped like the Death Star. link

I can see that dome being repurposed in a lot of spaceship games. |

Looks to be Asia only from the packaging, but that could easily be changed. I'd guess around 35-40mm, 30mm if you are lucky. |

While I would generally be supportive of such figs, usually, I'll pass on this one, since all the stormies appear to be in a single pose, with no variety whatsoever. Perhaps useful for a diorama where Vader, or the Emperor are arriving, but otherwise useless to me. |

For gaming Star Wars battles, these would be fantastic. I've used The Dip technique on plastic Army Men figures, with great effect; I can see there is enough detail molded into these figures that they, too, will benefit greatly from The Dip technique. I hope they will produce more buckets, with different poses, as well as types, of Storm Troopers. If they do, they will sell pallets of them, in the USA alone. For mass battles games, I could tolerate a single pose of Storm Troopers. They would paint up super-fast, using the plastic's color, only changing the bits that are different. Cheers! |
