Hello,

I am going to make a change of base soon. I need to set my vending calendar, but I am not sure what conventions are good for vending. Can anyone assist me?

There's Bayou Wars every year in LA.

Owlcon in Houston, and Millenniumcon in Austin are both good.

There's also Texicon in the Dallas area, but don't remember when it is. I think it's in June.

I know things are tough for you guys so it always good to see more vendors. I go to a couple of cons each year in Texas and always take time to buy SOMETHING from at least one vendor.

Depending on what your product is, there's Colonial Barracks in New Orleans in November (just over).

Texas Broadside at the Battleship each year
MagCon
WargamesCon

Lots of other types of conventions as well – ranging from a good sized Toy Soldier show in San Antonio to more general gaming/fantasy/sci-fi shows to include some wargaming like the BGG (BordGameGeek) con in Dallas or AggieCon in College Station

Just remember driving distances in LA/OK/TX are usually further than you think

Thanks again everyone.

Disaster, the distances are part of the reason I ask. I am not crazy about driving so I would like the potential customer base to be good size.

R Maker, I sell my Electronic Wargaming Magazines and I am the Cigar Box Battle show rep.

ACW, I'm the vendor coordinator for MillenniumCon. Send me your email address and we'll put you on our contact list. No commitments, just want to make sure we have a line of communication with you. vendor@millenniumcon.info

I would also endorse MillenniumCon in N. Austin (Round Rock TX) great venue, good attendance, and a busy vendor hall. Would love to see some American Civil War!!
