While we are waiting for more pix to appear, did anyone play in some good 18th century games at FI? I saw quite a few this year. |

I know my rules are a bit persona non Grata here but I ran two games of Light Bobs at Fall In and both had 6 players. If you follow this link to my Facebook Gallery you will see a folder labeled 2015_Fall In Light Bobs and another for Tricorn, which was Richard Borgs Command and Colors AWI game. I took two shots of that. Chris link |

About Tricorn By the way I chatted with Richard about the new game. Two changes are huge. Fist all units will be 4 stands each. Secondly if a unit (maybe only Rebels) that takes 1 or more flags must roll again. If another flag is not rolled they rout off the field. As i recall average units roll 1 per remaining stand with militia reducing their number by 1 and elites adding 1. Chris |

Chris, Regarding RB's upcoming Tricorne C&C game, do you recall if he had the units rolling a quantity of battle dice based on how many bases remained in the unit (as in C&C: Napoleonics) or did the units simply roll a designated no. of battle dice until they lost all of their bases (as in his "Battle Cry" ACW game)? Thanks. Clay |

The pix above are from our large Brandywine game we ran at Fall In. These are the Birmingham Hill game which won an award. We were using British Grenadier rules. We had an assist from Rich Hasenhauer on helping to rearrange the scenery a bit. Rich has walked the actual battlefield many times and was kind enough to help us get this one absolutely correct, including the plowed field placement. |

It's nice that you had Birmingham Meeting House as a building, which it was/is still. It is not correct to make it a village as another club did. |

Thanks. I try to have the buildings period correct looking. Of course I have the advantage of having walked the site too. :-) |
