What the #%@$. So, I picked up a softback rules book at Fall-in on Saturday. I got back home and started to read it on Sunday. At least 20% of the pages have already fallen out. I'm trying to be open minded, but this is ridiclous. Pretty pictures and layout, but it doesn't last one day of reading much less playing an actual game. |

That happened to me once with an American made set of rules. When I contacted the company they told me that the voyage in the very cold hull of a ship loosened the glue. They would not replace the ruleset. I hope you have more success than I did. |

Was this the small one? I've taken mine to be spiral bound, removes all that stress. |

if you purchase a book and it isn't fit for that purpose you are entitled to your money back, why should you have to spend your own extra money having it spiral bound !!! take it back demand a refund… incidentally I have a copy of the book and its perfectly fine although some early books stalingrad been one, were renowned for falling apart.i just cant understand people accepting that it happens and spending their own money to rectify it. if you bought a new washing machine and one day later it broke would you pay a repairmen to fix it ? |

why should you have to spend your own extra money having it spiral bound Because spiral binding is dirt cheap and makes for a much more accessible rulebook. But yeah, I'd still complain to Battlefront about the pages all falling out because of crappy glue. |

Weren't those softcover books free if you had the earlier edition? |

Yes that's right. And the advice I got from the diehards back then was to take it straight down to Officeworks and get it laminated and spiral bound – for $5 USD – its had lots of hard use since then but is good as new! |

The less said about Battlefront's book binding the better. Oh, who am I kidding? The more said the better. My North Africa book is in pieces. Every time I consult it I have to put it back together. |

In addition to the small paperback rule book, I have several FoW paperback books, (i.e. "NUTS!", "Blood, Guts, and Glory", "Desperate Measures" plus some others) and all of them had pages fall out. I too had them all spiral bound. All the hard back books hold together. |
