If Historicon is the biggest/best in North America, what's the equivalent for the scale modeling folks?

Syracuse, NY has a nice regional show of a couple thousand people. I've been to bigger, etc. but it has the right 'feel'. I fact it just started. I have one friend that spend Friday and Saturday at Fall-in, driving the 4 plus hours home then straight and to the train show on Sunday.

Without doubt it is the International Plastic Modelers Society or IPMS annual show. It rotates each year between the east coast, central US and the west coast. Different IPMS chpaters submit bids for their region to run the show. Entries from all over the world and an enormous amount of vendors.
