WOW, great report ! That Phil Character accounted for FIVE of the bad guys, didn't he? In some rulesets that would make him a legend, and give benefits in future fights. What rules were you using? |

Thanks, Phil was indeed having an amazing day! The rules are my own, freely downloadable from link (Don't be confused by the title, I had named mine 'The Law of the Gun' over a year before the similarly named Law of the gun commercial rules were released!) I hope you like using them! |

Our main characters started off at 'Stone Killer' rating, so despite downing a fistful of pistoleros, we're already at the top of the progression ladder! We diced randomly for our sidekicks, which is how I got lumbered with a Greenhorn like Cletus, fresh off the farm. The middle of the game looked like it was going against us – it took round after round of trading shots with the first couple of bandidos on the rooftop, giving the others time to gang up against the Rangers on the street. We could easily have lost just because of the number of dice being thrown against us. Once those two guys went down though, the third and fourth took only one shot each and the balance swung back to us. I did nail Il Grande, but only after Thor had done all the heavy lifting. Shot him in the back, too. John Wayne wouldn't have approved! |
