"The models are not faction specific, and can be assembled as any legion you want, so if you fancy some Lunar Wolves or Sons of Horus go right ahead! To give an example of the value contained within this set, the equivalent items from Forge World at the moment retail for around £370.00 GBP, this game is in plastic and the RRP is £95.00 GBP With our 10% off that makes this one of the best deals we have ever had."

That assumes GW pricing was fair to begin with.

Even if you discount the game itself, it ends up being around $3.50 USD a figure for some very nice looking figures with lots of options. It's actually not a terrible price.

Except that you're not being asked to pay $3.50 USD for an individual figure, but considerably more up front all at once for a basic starter set.

If you don't happen to have that chunk of change to spare all at once, you won't be playin' with the self-anointed "cool kids" from Games Sweatshop…

No thanks. If I have 95 sterling to burn, I'll go visit Ground Zero Games or Brigade Models or Antenoceti's Workshop, where I'll get orders of magnitude more gaming bang for my British buck.evil grin

It is actually more like $2.50 USD a figure for the basic guys. The 38 figures includes two characters and a dreadnought.

I'm getting one, at least.

Can't say I am inspired, hope it ells well for them. I don't desire any. I've got nearly enough SMs to re-fight the entire Heresy as it is. LOL
