I am not saying it is a bad model, I just don't understand SCI -FI model makers obsession with flamethrower equipped vehicles. In the future is fire again the most effective weapon? I can't think of a single modern army that still deploys flamethrowers |

They don't actually spew streams of burning liquid, no; but there are incendiary weapons such as the TOS-1,

which are used for thermobaric effect, and other rocket- and grenade-based weapons which set everything on fire (you CANNOT throw the grenades far enough.) |
