Was at the local used book store over lunch and found a copy of "Armies of NATO's Central Front" in almost new condition for $8.00 USD. It's selling on Amazon for over $400 USD!!

Your prize finding makes me wonder about my own 50+ year collection of out-of-print military & unit history books. I've tried to list each title as to it's current value AND try and explain to my wife how to liquidate the collection upon my eventual passing but I just know they'll end up at the rescue mission in their .99 section after I'm gone.

Yeah I got about 5 (well 6 now) books in my collection that are fairly valuable. I've identified them to my wife, just in case. Of course her response was "why don't you sell them? " Silly woman!!

I have quite a few books also. Saw one at auction starti g at about 500 dollars and spouse also said ehy don't you sell them. Son who is not a reader has asked me to leave all my books to him.

SHE has wanted to haul all my books to "Half Price Bookstores" from Day 1 of moving into my house. Someone will be as thrilled as "Razor 78" someday after I croak and she dumps the collection. Hauling them all over there will be a major job so SHE might have the Estate Sale people handle them. I doubt they will realize what they have so from beyond the grave I will make a lot of people happy.
