I'd guess a Ral Partha "grow a level" (or something ) illusionist. I'll check my catalogs.

Yep. RP's 01-331 Illusionist in the "3 Stage Character " line, in my 89' catalog. He's the top dog. The pic is teeny, but he's holding what appears to be a somewhat plain cylindrical wand. I can find online images of his lesser incarnations, but not him. Here's the "novice" version: link

No problem! All of those 3-Stage Characters are great minis. Some of RP's finest, IMO. I assume he'll be heading an expedition to a certain hazardous, chilly region?
