"Longest time Record to wait for a Supporting Membership" Topic

I had to give this some thought as to whether I should be ranting and screaming about the length of time I've been waiting for my Supporting Membership to kick in. How I've contemplated putting a bad service refund request into Paypal to get my money back for lack of action. But that still wouldn't get me what I was seeking and would probably paint me with an unfair brush.

I thought about starting a poll on what punishments Bill should hand himself for each day that he lets a pending membership slide whilst still being able to make at least two dozen posts on the forum in the current timeframe, but that probably wouldn't work as Bill seems to be too busy to dish out punishments to himself.

So I thought about starting a poll on what additional member benefits one should get for each passing day they have to wait to see if their membership status would change, but maybe there aren't any.

But with me heading into my 9th day waiting (well 204 hours and 2 unanswered PMs to the editor to be exact)(quite patient I feel) I thought I would just pose the question.

What is the record for the longest wait to have a Supporting membership status change? Mine is still ticking over but interested to hear whether others have had to wait longer. :-)

About three days.

for a long time, I averaged seven days, though the last couple have been about half that.

I don't think I have quite made it to nine.

cant count weekend days.
