Dear All, I am looking for 15mm figures suitable to use as French regulars or Algerian 'loyalists' for the 50's-60's Algerian conflict. I am aware of Eureka's 15mm paratroopers any advice would be appreciated thanks |

Look for French Indo-China figures and paint in European/desert gear ……US WW11 era trucks, jeeps and afv's etc. US paratroop figures and British 14th Army ( Burma) make useful 'proxies' too…….. |

QRF have Vietminh figures, check out their US figures for Korea, weapons are carbines/rifles/bars etc.? Also the Aussies for Korea in the postwar ranges too……. French Colonial forces could be made up from Peter Pigs SCW range Morrocans …..also have WW2 Brit/US paras for French paras…….also 14 th Army in bush hats…….and WW2 French for a 'Metropolitan' or African unit……with Adrian helmets mix in some 'mountain troops' with berets too……. Have a look at the Modern ranges too, lots of bareheaded/cap/bush hat variations to be had …..may need some weapons to be trimmed to 'knock back' to the fifties! Jeeps and loose MG's/support weapons are available too……….. |
