I am mid flow on writing an aerial combat game. The setting is actually pre WWI and through WWI, so strictly speaking with the Victorian era ending in 1901 it is more a post Victorian setting. However it is all about lighter than airships and players can use any setting they want with the Brigade models miniatures. So pre-1901 is fine. It is a game that has so far had 18Months of development, play test and show games. Next Saturday I am at Antwerp Crisis with Brigade models and the game, so anyone attending please come over and say hello. I am also the author of the Gruntz 15mm game and this will be my second published game with a target of being in print by Salute next year. You can keep up with progress on the game on the facebook page where I am sharing artwork and updates on progress. facebook.com/rottenlead |

Looking forward to seeing these. Will the rules allow for lower-tech things like the (lift-)wooden sailing or man-powered Martian ships of Space 1889? I have a bunch of ships from that setting to go with my Brigade aeronef. |

Your terrain is lovely. ESPECIALLY the burning hulks! Doug |

I hope your rules are available in the States. Several of my group have lovely models but none of the rule sets suffice at present. |

For myself I'll stick with the AERONEF rules and Warlords of the Ocean(I think it's called)it's simple and I like simple rules. |

@Captain As I said elsewhere, I like Aeronef, I like to fiddle with the rules as well. Props to David Manley who wrote two addendum's: Warlords of the Skies, adding more definition as to altitude along with some other bits, and Warlords of the Oceans, adding sea-going targets, er, vessels. I'm not always a stickler for assigning blame, ;->= , but as the only place I've found these documents is in the Wayback machine, and I personally admire Mr. Manley's work, seems right. That said, I'll be watching 'Imperial Skies' with interest. Doug |

Hi Doug, I do sometimes pop in here :) @Shagnasty: Yes rules will be available to buy in the USA. @Boy wundyr x Yes I have a builder in the book, so you can build what you like in terms of earlier airships with lighter hulls and small guns etc. The Kickstarter is now alive: link |

;->= Thanks, but MY question was on the KS announcement post: TMP link Doug Edit: Interesting OA about dice color and your game; I never think about the colorblind. |
