link Hi Artilleryman, I am using figs I have commissioned from Steve Barber Models, as well as figs from Perry Miniatures, Front Rank and Murawski… you will find pics of some of Steves figs in the link above. So far I have a Polish volunteer, Chasseur, Militia as well as a variant on the volunteer with a shako to give veteran units. Currently only one Russian fig…this is a personal project and it will take as long as it takes. Cheers, Shipka

Do you know his back story? I've got a friend who is getting his school kids to send letters to surviving Battle of Britain aircrew and the responses are a real eye opener for them. |

He was part of the RAFVR he trained in Canada and joined his squadron as a Flight Lieutenant Piloting a Lancaster, he was only 22 when he gave his life…from what I have been able to establish his plane was hit by flack and went down , all crew were lost… |
