For what it's worth…… Warstorm.com is taking pre-orders…the arrival date is listed as Late November. $100 USD for the box sets (each). $11.70 USD for Infantry platoons. $42.30 USD for a British Motor Rifle Company. $22.50 USD for the rule book. Dave |

I wonder if they will have them at Fall In. . . Probably not but one can hope! |
CAG 19 | 29 Oct 2015 2:13 p.m. PST |
Just been asked for my pre order in the UK. £13.50 GBP for a rule book, haven't seen the other prices yet |
Saber6 | 29 Oct 2015 2:14 p.m. PST |
They'll be home for Christmas… |
McWong73 | 29 Oct 2015 3:22 p.m. PST |
There are no british box sets being released, bit of a typo on their end. Better link: link |
coopman | 29 Oct 2015 3:42 p.m. PST |
Just pre-ordered the rulebook. |

Good news and thanks for posting! I do hope Australia isn't at the bottom of the food chain for this one – I guess they'll take it out on us when the Wallabies bring the world cup home… |

What are in the $100 USD box sets? Can't seem to find anything. |

Any idea what is in their infantry and mech platoon packs? |
Mako11 | 29 Oct 2015 6:39 p.m. PST |
Hmmm, so about $11 USD for US vehicles, and a little under $8 USD for the Soviet ones. Interesting. Really wish they'd done 10 x tanks and 3 x BMPs for the Soviets. 5 x M1s is a little odd too. Oh well, just glad to see they're coming out with new toys and rules. |
McWong73 | 29 Oct 2015 6:50 p.m. PST |
The sov box set on the surface appears a bit short of a full load, but I'm in for the US box. |
McWong73 | 29 Oct 2015 6:53 p.m. PST |
Aussies and Kiwis probably are at the end of the pile as I believe we're distributed from the US to Aetherworks studio locally for retail. If timing is a big issue maybe just order off the BF website. But it will all be there for Cancon at least! |
Clickenhof | 29 Oct 2015 8:38 p.m. PST |
This is good news indeed. Just one small thing from me…does any one have a idea or a link to what BF thinks or has, as a British Infantry Company ?? |
McWong73 | 29 Oct 2015 8:40 p.m. PST |
It's a typo, trust me. They likely meant soviet motor rifles. |
Clickenhof | 29 Oct 2015 10:43 p.m. PST |
……a typo But thank you good sir, Mr McWong73 |

I'm with you buddy. BAOR are what I'm looking forward to as well. Harriers anyone? |
Clickenhof | 30 Oct 2015 8:05 a.m. PST |
I too am looking forward to BAOR as well, as I was there from 1971 to 1988. I have gone for the Tornado, never saw a Harrier but did see a few Tornado's also a few A 10's when the yanks were around for the big exercise's. I know they will get many things wrong ( in the rules) but I just have to remember, that it is just a game and in my minds eye, I can laugh and say to myself " If only you knew the truth." |
McWong73 | 30 Oct 2015 1:41 p.m. PST |
Always liked the concept of Harrier Hides. Imagine the reaction of soviet armour as a Harrier pops up next to them from behind a tree line to give them an RAFG welcome to Germany. Brown pants all round comrades! |

I think the Tornadoes were more for operational level targets – airfields, fuel dumps sort of thing, rather than taking out individual tanks or clusters of infantry at the tactical level like the A10 or Harrier. Be happy to be proven wrong though – would love to have a couple over my table! |
nickinsomerset | 30 Oct 2015 11:22 p.m. PST |
Indeed Bruce, there was quite a difference in roles with the Tornado working at the operational level and the Harrier, often, operating as tactical air support. In the same way Corp and Army level artillery would be used for depth fire missions, battalion Mortars for intimate support and the Regt/Div arty for support of main courses of action, Tally Ho! |

Admittedly the Tornado GR.1 is a deep strike airplane but……….I like the look of it. :) |

The rulebook has been taken off the Warstore website. I have a bad feeling about this…. |
Mako11 | 31 Oct 2015 5:06 p.m. PST |
"I have a bad feeling about this….". No, that's for Star Wars. Coopman, you've gotta get your era specific quotes right. "SNAFU" would be more appropriate when dealing with the Cold War, and the military. Here's a link to the definition, if you are unfamiliar with the term (adult language warning): link |

Welcome back from the Dawghouse, Mako11. I was incarcerated just before you were. That was a fun 5 days, wasn't it? |
Mako11 | 01 Nov 2015 6:06 p.m. PST |
Thank you, coopman. Glad you're free as well. Yes, but I didn't miss much, since there were lots of "urgent" tasks to do around the home, sadly, so it was probably a good thing to keep me from getting distracted. |
