This is just my take on building up ones figures bases using Milliput Putty.

Basic tools a hobby knife and a spatula tool.

Your tutorial is useful. I liked your method. You pointed out that smooth bases allow flexibility in urban or rural environs. Thanks for passing on the tips.

I haven't done this in many years and with time and practice the effect will turn out much better, I also like the extra weight it gives the figures and the washer allows for storage on magnetic strips as well.
