I am attempting to CAD model the Boxer IFV (i.e. the Lance turret) for 144. It is proving… rather more difficult than I would have liked, owing to the lack of pictures. (Or rather lack of the right pictures.) There aren't even any good pictures of models as secondary source (even when attempting to search using German phrases and well as English.) What I'm really struggling with is top-down shots of the hull in particular. Does anyone know where there might be some good pictures of a Boxer IFV (and/or a technical drawing/blueprint opf the Lance turret, which would make it MUCh easier to try and proportion right) or something floating around on the net? I managed to get a bit of the way by eye, but then the builder tripped something and caused a local power-cut (lost about 15-20 minutes or so) and I decided that was the signal to give up for the day…! |

why not buy the 1/72 scale model by revell? easy to see what goes where then. you can then sell it on |

Both of those sources are Boxer APCs, unfortunately, rather than Boxer IFVs.
The only place that appears to even do an IFV model is Y-Modelle – and buying kits to copy from is not really economic (in money, time or storage space) for me at this point; and generally I prefer to try and use primary sources where possible. Model kits are not always accurate sources, so I only use them if I really have to. I can work with just doing it by eye with what stuff I have found, but it takes longer and isn't as accurate, so as I won't tackling it again until Friday, I thought it might be worth seeing if there was anything better than what my google-fu can dredge up. |

Are you talking about the German Puma, IFV? Try searching Google Images, for what you want: link |

Ah, I see my error. Never mind. Hope the Google Images link is useful though. |
