Coming from a newbie into this period of time, And ordering up figs (Swedish) for this rule set. I've done the google fu and all, It looks to me that there was no definite color for uniforms, But a mix of browns and some blue. Am I wrong in assuming this, Can anyone point me in another direction? And other than whats posted does anybody have more opinions on this rule set? Thanks in advance |

At the start of the war the Swedish native infantry wore rather colourfull uniforms in a variety of colours. The mercenary troops were probably not particularly uniform in apperance but they were still not as drab as the troops in the Polish war movei "Potop" (The Deluge) which seem to inspire a number of players of BFaS when painting their Swedes. Here is the 1655 uniforms of Swedish and Finnish regiments; link The cavalry commonly wore buff coats (thick leather coats) which were not leather brown but rather a pale white-yellow or ochre yellow colour. link link
