Does anyone know where on Khurasan's site are the Timurid and/or Ottoman Turks lines? I saw the Timurids recommended here in an old post, and Steve Dean has some excellent painted examples in his galleries.

Unfortunately, when I went on Khurasan's website (well, actually, since the site is down at the moment, I used Way back to look at the site as it was earlier this summer), I couldn't find either range. Does anyone know if they are still available?

I do not believe Khurasan do either of these ranges – well not full ranges anyway.

You might be right. I was basing it on these:

but maybe the figures are from different ranges?

I thought the Tajik peasant archer was the only figure Khurasan had made with the Timurids in mind – he gets a range all of his own on the website. Don't know where the other Timurids come from. Mind you, Kh have shown figures before that haven't hit the website yet – remember the Circassians?

The Ottomans in the second link are Essex.

Thanks GurKhan. I was going by the caption for the picture of the Ottoman Cav. and Jannisariess that say Khurasan. You think they are Essex instead?

Khurasan has previewed many ranges that they never released. Too bad, the Timurids look really nice.

I can confirm that the Ottomans are Essex – I have several of them.

In Feb 2014. Ah, Khurasan.

Still waiting on the Elizabethan ranges myself…

The first 9 pics in the ottoman gallery are khurasan, the rest are essex.
:-)

So, unfortunately, it sounds like the ranges are currently unreleased, and may never be. Oh well, the Museum Minis look nice, too.
