SPOILER ALERT! (Well, you can figure that! No?) "Early in Sunday's episode of "The Walking Dead" an unknown Alexandrian — if he had a name, I didn't catch it — set a record for quickest suicide-by-kvetch. "We're done and it's because of him," he moaned, referring to Rick. No sooner had he started whining then he was being eaten. (As always on this show: get yourself a name, don't be a jerk, you might survive.) The thing is, he wasn't wrong. So far Season 6 has been an extended thriller about Rick's unraveling plan to relocate the walkers, which, we now know, left Alexandria vulnerable to attack by the Wolves. That invasion, in turn, scuttled the walker drive when the trucker inconveniently died on top of the horn. (Perhaps they should have just torched the zombie quarry after all, as many commenters suggested.) After last week's detour to the Wolves onslaught, we were back among the zombies in Sunday's episode, a dark, anxious hour full of oh man I can't bury the lead any longer did Glenn really just get torn apart?…" Full text here link I'm shocked!! Spoiler Alert….. If I remember correctly Glen was captured and beaten to death in the comic by some nut job. So if he died in, I'm not surprised. They just changed the how and when. But as a few of us commented, maybe they were eating the suicide guy who landed on top of Glenn….

Very intense episode. I don't drink much, but I poured myself a good stiff one after seeing this one. |

If the walkers were eating the suicide guy on top of Glenn, wouldn't he then just be desert? Look at the situation he was in, how would you get out of that? They hadn't killed off a major character in awhile and as said, Glenn died in the books. |

Oddball, I know but he's my favorite character, so hoping he makes it some how. lol |

I love Glenn, but I kinda hope he doesn't miraculously survive. It seems like a HUGE stretch that (a) Nicholas gets devoured and Glenn doesn't get a single bite, even on his exposed face, (b) he manages to slip under the trash bin, and (c) the herd disperses anytime soon. But I think that's exactly what will happen: Glenn, covered in Nicholas' sacrificial blood (no symbolism there!), will hide under the dumpster and survive. |

I hope that happened!… I like Glenn!!… In the other hand… what about Rick?????… Or the bus began to run… or he has to jump on the roof of it! Amicalement Armand |

Yeah, Rick's in a bad spot. |

On a radio show today host doesn't think Glenn is a goner. He thinks the comic and tv will match up eventually. Also I didn't see it yet but the talking dead didn't show him in the usual zombie send off. Also in comic Rick is missing a hand ? |

Well… it seems he was wounded in his hand now!. (smile) Amicalement Armand |

Glenn dying hit hard. I for one would love to see him pull through but this season is obviously going to be a rough ride. I read in "Entertainment" magazine awhile back they had 300 extras as zombies this season and they sure put all those people to good use. Trapped on top of that dumpster, with a guy having a Force 12 meltdown, with a horde clawing at you to EAT you just could not end any other way. |

Reading as I do before work found Allahpundit at Hotair who lays out more on why Glenn is not dead. Can't say he is one of my favorites so didn't bother me one way or another. I take it that in the comics he gets murdered by a living. |

The UK saw the episode last night and it was a serious moment. I couldn't believe how many people died last night. I think Glenn is gone, as I can't see how he can get out of that situation. Also, I think Rick maybe losing that hand ;-) |

I would hope Glenn remains dead (un-dead?). It would take something away from the story line if he somehow escapes. Kinda link a an old comedy where the main character is surrounded by cops, he slips out under them, and pops up behind the cops and taps one on the shoulder. |

The actor playing Glenn probably asked for a raise. "Oop! You're gone!" ;-) |

Never knew of this website The Spoiling Dead. A fan website seemingly known for stalking the movie set has pictures of Glenn shooting episodes after his so called demise |

My thinking is that the suicide guy is on top of Glenn and in the zombie feasting frenzy Glen slithers under the dumpster to safety. Far fetched but it's Hollywood . |

Well, I'm still hoping that in the series finale, Glenn & Maggie ride off into the sunset in a fast car he's boosted… ;-) |

A thought occurred to me, a live human gets attacked by a zombie, the zombie chews off a part of live human causing terminal damage eventually blood loss kills live body. So for the 15 minutes or so zombie is eating the now dead corpse. But after the time delay corpse is reanimated into a zombie. So now the zombie is still eating a new zombie does new zombie grunt fight or do something to get original zombie off them. |

Well, I'm still hoping that in the series finale, Glenn & Maggie ride off into the sunset in a fast car he's boosted My idea to end the whole series; Rick and the gang have escape a large horde from a would have been a safe holdout, only to run into a massive horde that engulfs them like a wave before they can have time to react (then cut to black screen then slowly one by one, one screen shot at a time starting with Rick turned into ZOMBIES!! |

My friend 14Bore… I remember to ask something similar a couple of years ago… and by memory… the aswer was that at the exact moment the dead became a zombie… the zombies stop eating him… So… you may have a zombie with maybe… half of his body devoured… maybe he can stand up or only crall… or not… but his brains still ask for human meat… Amicalement Armand |

Oh yes heads (brains) still are animated without a body. Marchone leaves intact heads all over the place. |
