If you were building a 15mm Greco-Bactrian army today which figures would you use? |

I would buy Xyston Miniatures. Have a look among the Successor lists for cavalry and foot figures. link |

I think Essex are the only ones to do the bow armed lancers link |

Black Hat also do the bow armed lancers, as well as other Bactrian Greeks. link The Indians look good too if you want to be able to morph to an Indo-Greek. The phalangite shields are a bit on the large side so I'd probably use a different range for them. Black Hat would probably work alongside Essex and War and Empire figures – the horses would probably be the thing which stood out between the three ranges. War and Empire do a 'Bactrian' phalangite though I'm not sure about the helmet. |

Xyston for the phalangites, Essex for the heavy cavalry with lance & bow. Either for the rest. |
