Hi all,

I am running a Gear Krieg game at MillenniumCon 18 in Round Rock TX on Friday 6 Nov. The game will pit German armored units led by a P-1000 Landcruiser Ratte against dug in Soviet armor. If you are attending the Con, feel free to stop by and play, or just watch. Here's the write up for the game:

Voyage of the Landcruiser Gneisenau
September 1946 (an alternate timeline): Overlord results in a second Dunkirk, Trinity fails, and the Luftwaffe's jet fighters rule the skies. Stalemated in Italy, the Western Allies are forced into a negotiated peace with Donitz's Third Reich. German and Soviet forces are both bled white, but Rommel and OKW are determined to drive deep into Russia and force a Soviet capitulation. Now, for the second time in the war, a German army has been trapped in Stalingrad, and Manstein, commanding Army Group South from the Landcruiser Gneisenau, must facilitate a breakout.

So you are running your game in three more years? grin

I think you meant to type MillenniumCon15. Sounds like a fantastic game and I will come by to watch if I get to Round Rock early enough in the evening. I will be running Lion Rampant on Saturday of the con and looking forward to meeting you Gear Pilot. I have been interested in Gear Grieg for some time so it will be great to see a game of it being played.

Yes, the Millennium title was used in 1998 in anticipation of the upcoming Millennium year. No one at the time expected it to become an annual event for 18 years!
