"It takes a lot of work to get ready for your first game from buying the required books and models to learning the rules. Now you're ready to jump in with your force and have a great time.

As I suggested in the last article, I would go for a small game around 500pts. The idea is to learn the rules in a game setting, and not be overwhelmed, and I find small games are great for that.

Here's a list of things you should bring to your first game, and every game for that matter…"

First you will need to set aside enough money around $1,200 USD-$1,800 in order to buy an army plus the books.

Then hope that GW does not stop supporting the game or your army.

Yes. Ignore the pricing etc & I think it fair to say GW are one of the few companies that try to help new gamers into the hobby.
