Now showing in the "Future Releases" section of Expeditionary Force's site. A Later Persian scythed chariot and a light chariot, with a full complement of crew figures to configure them. No price or release date yet, but this is very exciting news for 54mm Ancient gamers and collectors. They are being shown in the same section as the new Macedonians. Hopefully there will be some Later Persian armored cavalry available as well.

This company is quite prolific -- American Civil War, Greeks and Persians, World War II Germans, Americans, and Free French, Hundred Years War.

I have some of their ACW figures, and they are beautifully sculpted.

I wonder if they have any plans to produce Seven Years War figures?

Hi. I saw shots of the Macedonians in the latest Toy Soldier Collector, so went on the website to have a look. They're under future productions.

They're absolutely lovely and very detailed. the Toy Collector mag. said production in Sept. 2015 so i meiled Scott Lam at Ex-Fo to ask because I really want some!!!!

Had a speedy reply. He said the Macedonians were 99% ready to go and release date would either be Oct. 2016 or by November. however, as Scott said they were 99% ready, I hope he means 2015!!!

They're doing 13 packs ranging from Companions (different sleeves for Philip and Alexander), Thessalians, Greek allied cavalry, Prodromoi, pikes, Hypaspists, Agrianians (slingers and bows), Greek allied hoplites, Paeonian cavalry, Peltasts. I think I've remembered everything. So a very exciting range and if the other sets are anything to go by, some very lovely sculpted figures.

I asked about Late Persian figures, and was told that all the other ranges (Persians, Thracians etc) are designed to be compatible with the new Macedonian figures.

Not too sure myself, as I think the Persian cavalry might need to be different and I'd need to get some hoplite shields to "convert" the Kardakes. But a very good range nonetheless.

they also plan the chariots pictured above, as well as camels and elephants and baggage, etc.

So I hope to get some when they finally come out and have bought a copy of "About Caesar" ready!!!!!

Hope that helps.

Best Wishes davejl

Hi guys

I've been in touch with Scott Lam from Ex-Fo to confirm release dates and the good news is that the first releases in the Macedonian range should be THIS November, with the second release being December, so not long to wait now.

The chariot shown above is due for release in early 2016. The range is 58-60mm in size.

They also plan Zulu wars figures around Xmas time and Napoleonics (54-56mm size) in 2016.

Photos of the Macedonian range are scheduled on the Ex-Fo site next week.

Can't wait to buy some!!!! Hope Santa will be VERY kind.

Hope this info is useful.

Best Wishes Dave Lycett
