These Spanish troops, and other 1/72 Spanish that I've seen here, could really tempt me into learning more about this period. Very nice looking. |

Hat released (finally) some nice figures. I'm thinking about getting some myself. They do need to rework their guerillas since some of them are pretty small compared to others in the line. cameronian: What rules are you using for that basing convention? |

Cheers Paul. This unit is from the 'Division of the North' in 1808 which was on garrison duty in Hamburg and Denmark and never saw action. What it does do is present an opportunity to do some off the beaten track theoretical match ups (Swedes, etc.). 79th, I'm kinda making it up as I go along. 'One Hour Wargames' typically asks for four infantry but doesn't specify anything else, so lets me field a reasonable number of figures but on a lot fewer bases. This Spanish project will field six battalions totaling 90+ figures but only on six bases. 1/72 I reckon is as big as it can go, 28mm would need to use trays. |
