Has there been any unofficial news on upcoming Perry Napoleonic releases? I am still waiting for the 1812 Saxons but they may be at the back of the queue behind the Spanish or other Peninsula releases. Westphalia haven't brought out any cavalry yet and the Eureka cavalry are ridiculously expensive and not really my taste. So I am still waiting. |

Eureka are great if you just pad out the shoulders a bit. I only did the Garde du Corps, but I did add Greenstuff to make them a bit more like front row of the scrum types.
Westfalia (note their spelling) have said they will do them….oh please…please….
Second best unit of that era after the Gendarmes d'Elite |

Actually – Westfalia is starting on the cavalry as we're speaking. The Dolly for the Chevaux legere and Uhlans has been made and will come back from the caster very soon.
Release schedule for the cav is as follows: 1. Uhlans, 2. Chevaux legere 3. Mounted Artillery, 4. General staff 5. Mounted Colonels 6. Trabanten |

Kawe Even that that beheaded figure shows what is coming, from you folk. You did suggest…you hinted..you teased us……with the idea that we might see the slightly larger heavy cavalry. Those chaps in the half cuirasse and the Garde Du Corps. The Eureka figures are beautifully cast, but they do need their shoulders padded out (in my opinion, anyway). Their thrusting sword is easily separated from the horse's right ear (good idea that, for the horse's hearing sake). The only expense was the shipping…actually……. no, the import duty in the UK, came to more than the figures………. |

That Dolly really works for all light cavalry formations as well as the horse artillery. I guess I'd hit the Trabanten very late next year (unless a wonder happens). |

Hi Kawe, Very good news indeed! Nice to see some mounted artillery too as I think that only Calpe have done some mounted Prussian Horse Artillery gunners. Cheers, Paul |
