Assuming they are not already. Let's suppose that Dear Editor in Chief wants assurances that the stinking masses of the TMP readership agrees with him. This is a Very Important TMP Policy matter. So he runs a poll but the initial results are not giving the desired results. Should he: 1) Go by the tabulated results. 2) Ignore them and do what he wants to do anyway. 3) Program the poll to yield the desired results. 4) No opinion. 3) should be easy enough. Simply add two Yes votes for every No vote if things are looking too close. Don't ignore No votes because voters could see if their vote is added to previous count. Simply negate it 30 and 45 seconds later. |

Are you saying he hasn't run YOUR polls as YOU have phrased them? Really! |

5) Turn off polls again if its that stressful. 6) Don't vote in any polls. |

Assuming they are not already. I would be outraged if they weren't. |

Assuming it won't get me DH'd as a group or personal attack … who is lame enough to have a desired result in one of our polls? |
