There's also the possibility that you got the older, smaller version of the Rhino. Unfortunately I lost all my CAV in a move a few years ago so can't tell you what the height difference was. |

I have some CAV mechs in the lead mountain. Why do you paint the parts _before_ assembly? Does it make the painting easier? How do you hold the parts while you paint them? JohnG |

Brother Jim – That may well be. Mayhap some other TMP reader knows the answer? platypus01au – I try to assemble as much as possible before basing and priming. Unfortunately, many mechs have areas that are inaccessible to a paint brush if fully assembled. The various bits are attached to the lids of small jars with poster tac. When all the parts are mostly done, I glue them together and finish painting. Of course, I could just restrict my purchasing to single-piece castings, but it seems that having more points of articulation than an action figure is all the rage. |
