Do you think it was something he recovered from? Did it cause psychological problems? Did it actually damage his brain?

No idea, I wasn't there…

Bad enough to be chronicled in a time where HtoH injures were common. Even a slight knock can alter a beings whole persona add lots of un diluted wine (how barbaric:) and your looking at major mood swings.
Cheers it would be nice to have these foibles added to our miniature generals none of that +3 all the time, makes them more believable.

Repetitive brain injuries caused by Philip constantly slapping young Alex in the head. Psychological injuries caused by psychopathic mother and family. Add playing rough without a helmet, war injuries, spectacular victories, delusions of grandeur and immortality and copious quantities of wine – stir gently. Top with just a touch of malaria.

What was the question?

Alexander has been described as having concussion-like symptoms. Doctors have taken him to the locker room where he will undergo further testing. His return to the battle is doubtful.

That sucks. I had him on my fantasy empire builder team. This being a contract year for him I wonder what that means for my keeper league.

It's OK. You get a sub since he was sidelined by the concussion rule.
