That's really beautiful stuff! I'm pretty envious! I particularly like the foliage up the front of the building. I'm not quite as convinced about that going up on the roof. Were you working from something in real life or a picture? |

Thanks for the kind words. Inspiration for the whole project comes from using Google maps street view. This enables me to get the layout of the place just right. I was also fed up with the stereotype straight roads and walls found on most FOW boards(I still have some lol). The dead ivy climbing up the house goes round the corner and then up onto the roof. It was bases on real life building but it had a different colour roof so perhaps that's why on the roof its not quiet right ? About the boards. They are wooden batten edged with an mdf bottom and the centre is styrene. All buildings can be moved and opened to get troops in. The trees are fixed using magnets to help with storage. The roads are rubber strips covered in fine gravel. |
