I love the concept (Antartica War I is interesting as well). Keep us posted. |

What about the Argies/Chilians? What vehicles? What troops? |
AVAMANGO | 15 Oct 2015 12:23 p.m. PST |
What about the Argies/Chilians? I'm sure I recently read that the current Chillian armed forces mainly use wheeled vehicles so you could go down the Matchbox toy route and pick up some V100 Commando AFV's, or maybe the new 6x wheeler BTR260 or 8x wheeled BTR290 from Armies Army with the standard or tank turret variant or maybe some of the new light wheeled patrol/recon vehicles from Brigades EuroFeds range. ;) zac |

Great post. I'm still not loving rheno5ld GZG sculpts, but in time we'll see them updated. |

@Avamango While I can imagine tilt rotor heavy duty not-helo (BM Athena VTOL) and quasi-spaceships grav-AFV (BM PacFed range), I have a hard time imagining Cadillac Gage Commandos or BTR-somethings labouring across Antartica (an environement I imagine, but then again I've never been there, hostile just short of the moon surface, only more white)… |

@McWong73 That's the problem with 15mm sci fi… Do I go with what's out there or do I wait juuust a little more for what will/might come out next? Are we spoiled? |

Khurasan are due to produce special forces in arctic gear to complement their civilians in arctic gear. I have always wanted to do an Antarctic campaign, maybe tied into the old SPI game "War In The Ice", maybe with the aliens breaking out of their underground silo's in later games |

There is quite a bit of footage of the Russian class BTR family of vehicles driving in Antarctic or tundra conditions on You Tube, but if you don't wish to take that route you can always buy my two Corgi toy showcats over on Facebook B-S-T about nine posts down.:) zac link |

Unfortunately, Khurasan is shut down for awhile. |

Turns out that GZG background has its own "Papua New Guinea War"… Also added some thoughts on critters for the theater! Added text in yellow in original post. |
