I've just set up a sub blog for bare metal/plastic scans and WIPs etc. I just put a few quick scans up and some basic observations. I'm no expert when it comes to moderns so any further observations will be most welcome.

One of the things Scotia does is to put the tank MG on the end of the main gun barrel. You can see this in the photos of the T-80.

Thanks for the comparisons.

Thanks for the comparisons, I found with the Scotia models that it was wheel details on the tanks which let them down one side was crisply moulded and the other side had barely any detail.
However Scotia's Ship to shore range are great.

Good point about the MG attached to the barrel. Its very handy and makes it less likely to lose it.

Yes thank you the microarmormayhem site is great!

I just need to decide how many vehicles I need for units next and where to get them from. After ordering and comparing I think its definitely worth ordering one and weighing it up before building a unit.

For some reason I don't know why I didn't order exactly the same to compare, I was mainly aiming at building Brit and Warpac armies so maybe that's why.
