Five years ago I've purchased miniatures from Khurasan Kofun Nara range to play them at Field of Glory.
But during the long debates concerning FOG V2 who initially should have been only tablets version, I made the move to Art de la Guerre rule set and stopped playing FOG.

At Art de la Guerre, the ancient Japanese are less competitive than at FOG, so I let the beautiful miniatures in their boxes until this summer.

As the Samouraļ army (list 210) is a more competitive army, I've decided a few weeks ago to paint the Kofun Nara miniatures as early Samouraļ (before 1100).

Here are the first bases : the 4 compulsory Medium Lancers Mediocre with 5 Medium Infantry Bow Elite.
