In a bout of extravagance hast spring, I bought a copy of Reaper's Nativity Scene. Now, I'm actually starting to clean it up and I am also starting to have questions. First, what did you base it on? Second, How did you paint the star over the manger. Grelber |

I did it a while ago painted the star gold and did not base it it was a gift to my mom. But I was going to base it, just waiting for Reaper to finish the set…it one of the only thing I heat about Reaper miniature. Just do the set and stop with this one figure every year or so far it's the holy family/Sheppard/2 of the 3 wise man and a donkey. So what else? another wise man/angel/more sheep another Sheppard/camel…maybe Brian and his mother Mandy. |

I would not base it. If you must base it…individual sheets of MDF with every little extra edge beyond miniature…stick with browns and sand textures as it is a manger The star As above solid gold looks good and is a classic retro look A more "star" effect would be white center, blended to sharp yellow at the edge |
