A couple of regiments that have recently seen the light of day. I have enjoyed finding this box of miniatures in my stash. I have only had one War of 1812 game and that was ten years ago. If I remember correctly I played the Brits and got a real ass-whipping from my own US troops under the command of a mate.

Nicely done.

Yes the those OG War of 1812 series still stand up to par with today's 28mm from Knuckleduster and Brigade Games figures.

Are you going to continue with War of 1812 gaming? Let us know your progress if you do.

I have been researching, collecting, painting figures and gaming the War of 1812 for about ten years. It is a great period to game as most of the battles are at the divisional level and below, which usually fits well on the table top battlefield.

Thanks for sharing your photos.

Concur. These are still nice figure. I have the 16th Regiment on the painting table. Despite my painter's block, they call to me every time I go down to the basement.

I really do find I enjoy the War of 1812 in miniature more than many other periods. No real reason why. But I do.

Hi chaps – yes I intend to continue. Unpainted I have another couple of US regular units, some militia and artillery and some cavalry. For the other side I have Glengarrys, Canadian Voltigeurs and some cavalry. Figure I will use my Peninsular Brits for anything else I need in the way of regular infantry and artillery.
For the War of 1812 Brits specifically I have painted Royal marines

and some RN Sailors and artillery.

I agree ref the RN Sailors that the Brigade Games figures a very nice. Keep those photos coming Brian and how about you Eric.

Like Eric I too enjoy the War of 1812 period more than any other historical period.
