Has anyone here ever participated in an Aethercon online convention? What were your experiences like? I'm curious to know more about it. Thanks! -Alex in Alaska |

I have a friend involved in this, but I missed it last year, not sure I have any time this year either. He seems to think its great, but I got bored trying to watch the replays of last years live talks online. |

Yeah, that sort of online gaming is uncharted territory for me, I was hoping to get some feedback from people who've done it & had dealings with the organizers. |

Well I kinda sorta have, they wanted me to sponsor an artist for the painting contest. They talked to me about it right after last years. Then I suddenly get a message in May that the painter needs these exact figures yesterday to start a contest that was not supposed to be finished until now. I could not get a hold of the painter and I did not have those figures in hand and later found out neither did he, so I had to drop out along with him. So there not really very organized ATM. To many people who do not know what the others are doing/not doing I fear. |

@Napthyme – Thanks, that matches up fairly closely to my own experience. |
