Outcast Miniatures launched their Kickstarter campaign for 15mm Terminators

"The terminators are the first of many 15mm projects lined up for production in the near future. With 37 sculpt variations ranging from your standard infantry and command units, heavy weapon and sniper units, and supports units. All being sculpted the ever talented Rodrick Campell. Upon completion of the terminators, resistance fighters and federation marines"

15mm is a good size for this sort of thing, since I would want lots of HKs and other vehicles on the board, too.

Not going to back this one(good idea though) until I see a lot more details, ie. how many figures in a squad, etc., etc.

Nice to see such a wide variety of sculpts being planned!

I'll punt a bit to stay updated. I can always cancel.

The Scourge by Rebel Minis are really nice 15mm Terminators.

Seems to me that this venture has "IP Infringement" written all over it. What appears to be studio concept art from Terminator Salvation and no mention of any studio/stakeholder involvement…

Now if these were "Terminatoresque" with independantly developed concept artwork and no mention of the term "Terminator", it would be a different story. The Terminator franchise doesn't have the exclusive rights to unstopple metal killing machines in skeletal form….

…everyone knows Games Workshop holds that… ;)

Rodrick sculpts a lot for splintered light and others. He is a great, and often posts on TMP. I agree that it seems like a sketchy Kickstarter.

1 full squad consists of all 37 sculpts 1 full platoon is 4 squads 1 company is 4 platoons 1 battalion is 4 company's

Knight Templarr are you involved in the Kickstarter? Seems like this project needs, at minimum, to answer the following questions:
1. Is it officially affiliated with the Terminator franchise?
2. If not, how is it not copyright infringement?
3. Why are there no pictures of the greens (they are being sculpted is not a good answer)?

I don't see anywhere where it says you get 37 miniatures for $23. USD It does say there are 37 different variations, I still think this whole project is wishful thinking!

Glad you like them boys!.

"I restarted the launch to include republic Marines Look for it an show support. Looking forward to a successful launch"
