Middara is a story driven dungeon delving RPG adventure board game with awesome unique gameplay, phenomenal artwork, and amazing miniatures!! It has a choose-your-own-adventure style of gameplay, and full co-op capability so it can even be played solo!! Last I heard, you can still make a Late Pledge to the game by contacting the creator, Succubus Publishing, through Kickstarter, but you need to hurry because the Pledge Manager will be launching soon. Inexperienced team with lots of detailed minis to deliver? Piles of renders and pencil art? Evocative full colour art in spades but not actual production minis? Alpha rulebook? Just sayin'…. |

The art looks like someone read too many of those 'how to draw manga' books, and not the good ones that have the benefit of actually bring from Japan and stuff. Utter turn-off |

I see no reason why they won't deliver as promised. The rulebook has been posted on their Kickstarter update # 45. They have shown prototypes of the miniatures and game boards already, and the game was displayed at Salt Lake Gaming Convention shown here: YouTube link Here is a playtest video of the game: YouTube link Gameplay looks great!
