While gathering information for my eastern Roman army I found information about the Limes Arabicus which I stored for a later date.

After completing the Necropolis, construction was begun for fort and watchtower.

Follow the link to the blog for a description with photos.

Excellent work. You have really been cranking out the terrain pieces. I will be interested to see how you base them.

You are on a roll. Excellent fort.I imagine it can be used for a number of armies.

@ Bill,

Both tower and fort will be fixed to their own triplex (1.2 mm) bases.

The tower may have a round base as it will function more as a decorative item.

The fort however, will be fixed to three bases; the front and rear section with towers are 1BW x 3BW with a middle section about 1,5BW x 3BW.

The front section with gate can serve as a camp, the front together with the middle section can be used as a stronghold (HOTT) and all three sections completing the fort will serve as a garrisoned BUA.

Unfortunately, I cannot base the item until I make storage space available. I therefore need to sell some armies to make room.
