I'm trying to put together a game of the Louisiana Maneuvers of 1941. There is a section in "Old Ironsides" that touches on the subject but I am told that there is also a more detailed section in "Hell on Wheels", the problem being that "Hell on Wheels" is out of print and I can't find a copy anywhere. Can anybody impart any wisdom? LT |

Are you looking for FOW-specific, or historic info? If historic, check out this free book on the subject from the US Army: link |

Was there a BF book "Hell On Wheels"? I only remember "Old Ironsides" and "Stars & Stripes" from version 1. |

There is a Hell On Wheels/The 2nd Armored Division by Donald E. Houston in which Chapter 4 is devoted to Louisiana Maneuvers. The publisher is/was Presidio Press and the copyright is 1977. |

Oh right, it is the Houston book with the best info — sorry it's been awhile since I read them. |

Aaaaaargh! I am such a moron! The book was suggested to me on the FoW board and, my brain being old and squishy, I seem to have manufactured a memory of a FoW book by that name. Thanks to help from you guys, I went straight to Abe Books and ordered a copy. Thanks much. LT |
