IŽll start a new project… again. IŽve always liked Wargames Foundry Jason and the argonauts range, and now I have 12 argonauts and a hydra!!

picture

Will show some progress soon… I donŽt have plans for any rulebook (maybe OGaM…), I just want to paint them!

Some more pics here: link

Cheers!

I'm in the midst of a Greek mythology project myself and so will watch your progress with interest. The classical myths just have so much potential for painting and gaming--I think you'll have a great time.

If you DO decide to play with them, you might take a look at 7th Voyage, which is very good for this kind of thing. I'm also beginning to think I might try Pulp Alley as well. I think it could work.

Thank you Daryl, IŽll have a look on that ruleset!

Here you have some progress, the first two miniatures: Jason and Idas

This is not the "official" miniature for Jason, but it was my favourite.

Cheers!

They look really good! I especially like the basing and the lighting.

You need to get the Wargames Factory skeletons set:

Jason and Idas couldn't look more heroic--you've done an outstanding job on them! Yes, and you need skeletons (the Wargames Factory offerings above would definitely fit the bill), and, and a minotaur, and…This can be a slippery slope, I warn you.

Have fun!

Actually… I had some of those skeletons some time ago… link

ShouldnŽt have sold them.. :(

Time for a new update!

Great painting and photography. Very atmospheric. Looks like Medusa could appear behind them any moment. Great skeletons also above.

Agreed. You've done a beautiful job on both of these as well. I'd love to see how you do with the Hydra, and any other beasties you set your brush to!

I hope you've seen the version over at Matakishis Tea House? He has a fantastic set of Jason "era" figures!

Here you have a couple of figures: Heracles and Peleus

Peleus armor is my favourite. More pics (including family pic) here: link
